Are you considering trying Jillian Michael’s 30-Day Shred? Well, before you drop your hard earned cash, check out my honest review first.

First of all, 30-Day Shred is set up differently than most other workout DVD’s. Instead of one long 45-60 minute workout, Jillian only makes you work out for 20 minutes. But, do not be fooled! It is a tough 20 minutes that will leave you seriously gasping for air.

Basically, the DVD consists of three different levels of 20-minute workouts. Each level gets increasingly more difficult, but effective. In each workout, she combines intervals of strength, cardio and abs.

Jillian recommends working out to this video for 30 days straight, so level one for 10 days, level two for 10 days and level three 3 for the last 10 days.

So What is the Verdict?

When I first bought the 30-Day Shred DVD, I was skeptical I would see results after only 20 minutes of working out. But, the skepticism quickly diminished, after the first few minutes of doing this DVD. Jillian is not known as “America’s Toughest Trainer” for no reason. This really is a down-to-business, no-nonsense workout DVD. She really pushes you to keep going, by reminding you that you are only working out for 20 minutes. I actually like that it is only 20 minutes long, because it makes it easy to fit into my busy schedule.

But Does it Work?

Yes, in my opinion, if you use this DVD consistently, combined with a healthy diet, you will notice results. For me, after only week into this video, I felt my body was stronger and leaner. Jillian focuses on building lean muscle to help burn fat, which is why I believe the video works so quickly and effectively.
