Use your time efficient – Workout smarter!

Are you still stuck in the imaginations that you need to spend several hours in the gym working out for getting results and burn fat? Forget about that! New studies have shown that short but efficient workout routines are better than those long hours in the gym.

Almost all people workout according to the old fashion school, meaning that they use the low intensity level to lose fat, since this is what has been the so called truth for a long time. Is is said that if you want to burn fat, the best exercises are low intensity exercises, such as a long walk, going on the treadmills for an hour or two, etc.

The truth is that it is the number of calories you burn that counts. If you want to burn more calories, you need to intensify your training. New studies show that it is more efficient to workout a varied training with different levels of intensity. If you adopt the results from the new studies, you will see that in only 20 minutes you can get the same result, or even better, than to workout 1 hour in the old fashioned way. The trick is to adapt the training to your personal capability at the time of the exercise.

Most likely you have experienced that some days you feel in better shape than others. It feels like you are stronger and in better shape than ever before. The contrary also holds true – other days you feel really weak and you wonder how in earth you should be able to do any workouts at all that day. That’s only natural. We cannot be at the top and produce peak performance every day.

But, if you adjust the workout to the condition you feel you have at the time you do the workout, and maybe stretch it a bit further than you thought was possible, you will make most out of your workout.

Low intensity level workouts can be good, for very over-weighted people, for rehabilitation or some days when you really feel that this is the best you can do today. However, most of the times you workout you should try to get out the most of each workout opportunity.

I have personally used this method and within 5 weeks I have seen really great improvements. It is satisfying when you notice that you can increase the level of resistance on a machine, increase the speed, or use heavier weights that you did when you started. And it’s the results that count, don’t you agree.

I challenge you to open up your mind and try the new way of working out and burn fat. Spend 20 minutes working out at the gym instead of hours. You save time, burn more calories.
