Do you have a little yogi in your life? Someone whose picture is listed in the dictionary under holistic and cross referenced under yoga? If last year’s meat and cheese gift basket didn’t go over so well, take heart. With these gift ideas, you’re bound to stay out of the dog house.
Candles: Those holistic types love candles–especially those that smell good. It helps set the mood for meditation and all that chanting they like to do. In fact, they even have a name for it–aromatherapy. Go figure.
Massage Oil: Here’s another winner. Holistic types love massage like mice love cheese. If you’re smart, you can get a massage out of this too. It’s a definite winner that will last for months.
Gift Basket: You weren’t far off with that gift basket idea. This year try putting some yoga-related items in it.
Fountain: Holistic types love fountains [http://www.mind-mart.com/fountain-rock-pond-blue]. It has something to do with feng shui and energy flow. It’ll go over big, and it does make a nice sound–unless it makes you want to go to the bathroom. In that case, buy some ear plugs.
Calendars: This is a sure-fire winner. A calender with a holistic theme on it is the gift that gives all year. You can’t lose with this.
Framed Print: This would be great for setting ambiance. If your significant yogi-type likes to meditate, this is a winner worthy of bragging on all year.
Any one of these will keep you out of the gift-giving dog house this year, but if you’re smart and want an absolute, year-long, get out of jail free card, get them all. Set them up in a little corner and call it a ‘meditation space’. Your feng-shui will flow with the laws of attraction.
