Discover Pure Omega 3 Oil

If you live in the Western world you are most likely deficient in important omega 3 fatty acids. What was once an abundance substance that our ancestors obtained from food is now scarce.

Various reasons have made it very difficult to get adequate amounts of omega 3, making a pure omega 3 oil an important addition to most people’s dietary regimen.

There are two major reasons: one, animals that provided the meats we ate used to be free range and ate grass. Cattle, chicken, lamb, you name it. Nowadays, they are penned up, fattened artificially for profits, and the way to do this is to feed the animals grain.

Grassfed, free-range meats produce high levels of omega 3 fatty acids naturally. Grainfed animals produce almost none of it.

Since almost all of the meats you’ll find at a typical grocery are grainfed, you’re eating a lot less omega 3 fatty acids than our ancestors used to get. That’s reason #1 for looking into a pure omega 3 oil.

Fish….this used to be a fantastic source to get our omega 3’s. In fact, the best source possible.

But now the FDA recommends a limited consumption of fish because almost all fish is contaminated by heavy metals and toxins due to pollution in the Ocean waters that accumulate in the flesh of the fish.

If you think farm raised fish is any better, think again. These fish are fed unnatural diets consisting of pellets. Fish only had naturally high omega 3 fatty acids to offer us because of what they ate in their natural diet, such as algae.

Farm raised fish are not a good source of omega 3 fatty acids.

Pure Omega 3 Oil

Nowdays, because of these unfortunate events, we have to rely on a pure omega 3 oil to supplement our diet with.

The best source is still fish, but you must only purchase molecularly distilled supplements. This means that the fish oil has been purified and all possible contaminants have been removed, leaving just the good stuff.

In addition, you should know that not all fish sources are equally high in the two most important types of omega 3 fatty acids, called DHA and EPA.

So, make sure you pick a pure omega 3 oil that is made from a fish source naturally high in these omega 3 fats.

Lastly, understand that most fish oil is produced from fish that isn’t too fresh.

You see, most fish oil products are made from fish that have been caught outside of the country of manufacture, then placed in tankers for long transport.

Fish and the oil it contains, are extremely susceptible to rancidity. That’s why many fish oil products have additives in the product. This helps counter the oil from going rancid.

If a product has additives, it’s not a pure omega 3 oil.

The only thing a fish oil product should have (besides pure omega 3 fatty acids) is a tiny bit of vitamin E to prevent the oils from oxidizing.
