It seems that every time you turn around there is a new fad diet joining the list of fat loss diets on the market!

In this article I am going to discuss the plus and negatives of one of the more popular of the fat loss diets on the market and then let you know what I recommend in its place.

Of all the diet companies the one that “Really Irked ” me the most was the High Protein Diet!

I could not believe how many people bought that this was a safe way to lose weight… Come On!

How can restricting carbohydrates be healthy?

Guys, your body needs carbs, not just for fuel and good health, BUT for burning fat!

And talk about bad for you… I don’t get it, what good is it to lose 80 pounds and then die of cancer or some other diet related illness because of your diet?

Give your head a shake people! SORRY… I realize I am ranting here, but when you understand how easy and healthy proper weight loss is, it makes no sense why people fall for these fat loss diets time and time again!

Okay, Pro’s of the High Protein Diet, Ah Ah Ah… Lets see… I am trying here… Okay the only one I can think of is that you will lose weight, but to be honest most of the fat loss diets will accomplish that.

However as you will see the negatives very much surpass the ONLY positive.

Some of the negatives are:

  • Out of the fat loss diets, the high protein diet is the one that causes ketosis, which actually causes your body to lose its lean muscle mass (BAD THING!)
  • This loss in muscle mass in turn slows your metabolism, which of course results in your body burning fewer calories as fuel, and of course storing these excess calories as body fat. (Tip: You Want To Keep Your Muscle Mass)
  • I would say the high protein diet has the most side effects. Some possible side effects are, Stinky bad body odor, really Stinky bad breath, headaches are also common, low blood sugar levels are very common, and feeling very tired is another symptom.

And from my experience the long-term results of these are very dismal and definitely not worth the possible side effects and damage it does to your body!

Gang I have said time and time again, Forget About The Fat Loss Diets out there, they do not work!

What works is healthy eating! Now… I realize that for some people figuring out how to eat healthy can be a difficult task… So… I totally get that people need a program to get them on the right track.

The problem is that most of the programs out there are just another one of the fat loss diets or fads!

This is why I do what I do!

Why I take the time to educate people on this topic…

So what can you do if you need help? My expert advice is to find a weight loss program that promotes weight loss based around healthy eating, then simply ask them for a copy of their program and take it to your doctor to look at to confirm that it is indeed based on healthy eating. (Tip: If they will not give you a copy they are not healthy eating!!)

So instead of one of the fat loss diets, you get a program that is designed to teach you how to eat healthy! And guess what happens when you eat healthy?

Yes indeed you lose your fat, for life!
