Maybe you have thought about hiring a personal trainer at the gym, but you can’t decide if you want to spend the money or not. The gym has probably told you that if you want the results, you are going to have to go through a personal trainer.
The truth is, personal trainers don’t work.
The reasons they don’t work are:
- Only YOU can get the results you need
- It is hard to stay dedicated to the schedule of a personal trainer
- Personal trainers can only dedicate so much time and energy to each client
If you are going to get the body that you want, a personal trainer is not going to be able to do it for you. You need the motivation and the dedication. A personal trainer is not going to be able to give you that.
Also, consider the schedule you will have to keep with a personal trainer. If you want to get your money’s worth, you are going to have to drag yourself down to the gym to make the appointments. If you have a job and a family, that can be hard to do.
Then there is the problem of the trainer himself. When you hire a personal trainer, you are just one of their clients. They have many others, and you can only be so important. They are not going to be able to give you their full attention.
There is a remedy for this problem. Instead of turning to a personal trainer, find your own workout that you can do at home. You can look and feel great without spending the money on a personal trainer.
